Wendy Wollenberg can’t remember a time when she wasn’t writing about something she loves, whether interviewing history-making fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg or visionary artist Ed Paschke or covering fashion shows and local designers as the editor of Chicago Shopping, a Chicago Tribune- owned website.

Her career encompasses journalism, communications, marketing, advertising and public relations, all of which inform her content strategy and development efforts for brands large and small. While earning her degree in print journalism at Columbia College, Wendy interned at WHERE Chicago magazine, a top international travel publication, where she eventually went on to become editor in chief. After nine years at WHERE Chicago, Wendy looked to broaden her horizons at AOL CityGuide, where, as managing editor, she oversaw a staff of 10 editors and hundreds of freelancers across the country while working with the AOL/Time Warner Entertainment network. Wendy has also worked on a wide array of freelance projects, including writing for a variety of lifestyle publications, copywriting and authoring Night + Day Chicago, a guidebook covering her beloved hometown.
